‖Ta‐la″ri‐a (tȧ‐lā″rĭ‐ȧ), n. pl. [L., from talaris pertaining to the ankles, fr. talus ankle.] (Class. Myth.) Small wings or winged shoes represented as fastened to the ankles, — chiefly used as an attribute of Mercury.
