Tar″ra‐gon (?), n. [Sp. taragona, Ar. tarkh�n; perhaps fr. Gr. � a dragon, or L. draco; cf. L. dracunculus tarragon. Cf. Dragon.] (Bot.) A plant of the genus Artemisa (A. dracunculus), much used in France for flavoring vinegar.
