Toxicology

Tox′i‐col″o‐gy (?), n. [Gr. τοξικόν poison + -logy; cf. F. toxicologie. See Toxic.] The science which treats of poisons, their effects, antidotes, and recognition; also, a discourse or treatise on the science.
