Wallaby

Wal″la‐by (?), n.; pl.Wallabies (#). (Zoöl.) Any one of numerous species of kangaroos belonging to the genus Halmaturus, native of Australia and Tasmania, especially the smaller species, as the brush kangaroo (H.
