Zingiberaceous

Zin′gi‐ber‐a″ceous (zĭn′jĭ‐bẽr‐ā″shŭs), a. [L. zingiber ginger. See Ginger.] (Bot.) Of or pertaining to ginger, or to a tribe (Zingibereæ) of endogenous plants of the order Scitamineæ. See Scitamineous.
