to bind under, esp. of foot gear. Most freq. in mid, and pass. c. acc;

(a) of the foot, ὑποδησάμενοι τ. πόδας, your feet shod: Eph 6:15;

(b) of that which is put on, σανδάλια: Mk 6:9, Ac 12:8.†
