Jos 15:9,60, a city of the Gibeonites afterwards given to Judah. It was on the confines of Benjamin, Jos 18:14,15, about nine miles from Jerusalem in the way to Lydda. Here the ark was lodged for many years, in the house of Abinadab, till David removed it to Jerusalem, 1Sa 7:22Sa 6:21Ch 13:1-14.
