ἀναμάρτητος
Etym. ἁμαρτάνω
1. "without missing, unfailing, unerring", Xen.
2. in moral sense, "without fault, blameless", Plat., etc.; ἀν. πρός τινα or τινι "having done no wrong to" a person, Hdt.; ἀν τινός "guiltless of" a thing, id=Hdt.; τὸ ἀναμάρτητον "innocence", Xen.:—adv. ἀν-αμαρτήτως, "without fail, unerringly", id=Hdt.
