CHAW, v.t.

1. To grind with the teeth; to masticate, as food in eating; to ruminate, or to chew as the cud.2. To ruminate in thought; to revolve and consider.

CHAW, n.

1. The jaw. Ezek. 29:4. But in modern editions of the Bible it is printed jaw.2. In vulgar language, a cud; as much as is put in the mouth at once.
