SEETHE, v. t. preterit tenseseethed, sod; participle passiveseethed, sodden. [Heb. to seethe to boil, to swell, to be inflated.] To boil; to decoct or prepare for food in hot liquor; as, to seethe flesh.

SEETHE, v. i. To be in a state of ebullition; to be hot. [This word is rarely used in the common concerns of life.]
