‖Ar‐te″mi‐a (är‐tĕ″mĭ‐ȧ), n. [NL., fr. Gr. Ἄρτεμισ, a Greek goddess.] (Zoöl.) A genus of phyllopod Crustacea found in salt lakes and brines; the brine shrimp. See Brine shrimp.
