Crepance

{ Cre″pance (kr?″pans), Cre″pane (kr?″p?n), } n. [Cf. L. crepare to crack.] (Far.) An injury in a horse's leg, caused by the shoe of one hind foot striking and cutting the other leg. It sometimes forms an ulcer.
