De‐sid″er‐ate (?), v. t. [imp. & p. p.Desiderated; p. pr. & vb. n.Desiderating.] [L. desideratus, p. p. of desiderare to desire, miss. See Desire, and cf. Desideratum.] To desire; to feel the want of; to lack; to miss; to want.
