Ep′i‐deic″tic (?), a. [Gr. �, fr. � to show forth, display; επἴ + � to show. Cf. Epidictic.] Serving to show forth, explain, or exhibit; — applied by the Greeks to a kind of oratory, which, by full amplification, seeks to persuade.
