Hypoblast

Hy″po‐blast (?), n. [Pref. hypo- + -blast.] (Biol.) The inner or lower layer of the blastoderm; — called also endoderm, entoderm, and sometimes hypoderm. See Illust. of Blastoderm, Delamination, and Ectoderm.
