In‐fold″ (?n–f?ld″), v. t. [imp. & p. p.Infolded; p. pr. & vb. n.Infolding.] [Pref. in- in + fold.] [Written also enfold.] 1. To wrap up or cover with folds; to envelop; to inwrap; to inclose; to involve.
