In′ter‐leave″ (?), v. t. [imp. & p. p.Interleaved (?); p. pr. & vb. n.Interleaving.] [Pref. inter- + leaf.] To insert a leaf or leaves in; to bind with blank leaves inserted between the others; as, to interleave a book.
