‖Kar′y‐o‐plas″ma (kăr′ĭ‐ō̍‐plăz″mȧ), n. [NL., fr. Gr. κάρυον a nut + πλάσμα a thing molded.] (Biol.) The protoplasmic substance of the nucleus of a cell: nucleoplasm; — in opposition to kytoplasma, the protoplasm of the cell.
