‖Leu″co‐ryx (lū″kō̍‐rĭks), n. [NL., from Gr. λευκόσ + ὄρυξ a kind of gazelle.] (Zoöl.) A large antelope of North Africa (Oryx leucoryx), allied to the gemsbok.
