‖Li″bra (lī″brȧ), n.; pl.Libræ (lī″brē). (Astron.) (a) The Balance; the seventh sign in the zodiac, which the sun enters at the autumnal equinox in September, marked thus ♎ in almanacs, etc. (b) A southern constellation between Virgo and Scorpio.
