Ligustrin

Li‐gus″trin (lī̍‐gŭs″trĭn), n.(Chem.) A bitter principle found in the bark of the privet (Ligustrum vulgare), and extracted as a white crystalline substance with a warm, bitter taste; — called also ligustron.
