Lith′on‐trip″tic (?), a. [Gr. λίθοσ, acc. �, a stone + � to rub, grind: cf. F. lithontriptique.] (Med.) Having the quality of, or used for, dissolving or destroying stone in the bladder or kidneys; as, lithontriptic forcéps. — n. A lithontriptic remedy or agent, as distilled water.
