‖Mes′o‐a″ri‐um (?), n. [NL., from Gr. μέσοσ middle + ᾠάριον, dim. of ᾠόν an egg.] (Anat.) The fold of peritoneum which suspends the ovary from the dorsal wall of the body cavity.
