‖Myc″o‐thrix (mīk″ō̍‐thrĭks), n. [NL., fr. Gr. (spurious) μύκησ mucus (L. mucus) + θρίξ, τριχόσ, hair.] (Biol.) The chain of micrococci formed by the division of the micrococci in multiplication.
