Ophiophagus

‖O′phi‐oph″a‐gus, n. [NL. See Ophiophagous.] (Zoöl.) A genus of venomous East Indian snakes, which feed on other snakes. Ophiophagus elaps is said to be the largest and most deadly of poisonous snakes.
