Op‐pugn″ (?), v. t. [imp. & p. p.Oppugned (?); p. pr. & vb. n.Oppugning.] [OF. oppugner, L. oppugnare; ob (see Ob-) + pugnare to fight. See Impugn.] To fight against; to attack; to be in conflict with; to oppose; to resist.
