‖Phyl‐lo″di‐um (?), n.; pl.Phyllodia (#). [NL., fr. Gr. � leaflike; � leaf + εἰ̑δοσ form.] (Bot.) A petiole dilated into the form of a blade, and usually with vertical edges, as in the Australian acacias.
