Re‐du″pli‐cate (rē̍‐dū″plĭ‐kā̍t), a. [Pref. re- + duplicate: cf. L. reduplicatus. Cf. Redouble.] 1. Double; doubled; reduplicative; repeated.

2. (Bot.) Valvate with the margins curved outwardly; — said of the æstivation of certain flowers.
