‖Re‐fait″ (?), n.(Card Playing) A drawn game; specif. (Trente et quarante), a state of the game in which the aggregate pip value of cards dealt to red equals that of those dealt to black. All bets are then off; unless the value is 31, in which case the banker wins half the stakes.
