Sham″ble, v. i. [imp. & p. p.Shambled (?); p. pr. & vb. n.Shambling (?).] [Cf. OD. schampelen to slip, schampen to slip away, escape. Cf. Scamble, Scamper.] To walk awkwardly and unsteadily, as if the knees were weak; to shuffle along.
