Snath (snăth), n. [Cf. AS. snīðan to cut, to mow, snǣd a bite, bit, snip.] The handle of a scythe; a snead. [Variously written in England snead, sneed, sneath, sneeth, snathe, etc.; in Scotland written sned.]
