Spermatogonium

‖Sper′ma‐to‐go″ni‐um (?), n.(Physiol.) A primitive seminal cell, occuring in masses in the seminal tubules. It divides into a mass (spermosphere) of small cells (spermoblast), which in turn give rise to spermatozoids.
