Squint

Squint (skwĭnt), a. [Cf. D. schuinte a slope, schuin, schuinsch, sloping, oblique, schuins slopingly. Cf. Askant, Askance, Asquint.] 1. Looking obliquely. Specifically (Med.), not having the optic axes coincident; — said of the eyes. See Squint, n., 2.
