Ta″bling (?), n. 1. A forming into tables; a setting down in order.

2. (Carp.) The letting of one timber into another by alternate scores or projections, as in shipbuilding.

3. (Naut.) A broad hem on the edge of a sail. Totten.

4. Board; support. Trence in English (1614).

5. Act of playing at tables. See Table, n., 10.
