War′i‐an″gle (?), n. [OE. wariangel, weryangle; cf. AS. wearg outlaw, criminal, OHG, warg, warch, Goth. wargs (in comp.), G. würgengel, i.e., destroying angel, destroyer, killer, and E. worry.] (Zoöl.)
