κατά-νυξις, -εως, ἡ

1. a pricking.

2. (Perhaps through resembl. of κατανύσσω to -νυστάζω), torpor of mind, stupefaction: Ro 11:8(LXX) (v. ICC, in l.; Field, Notes, 157).†
