(< τάσσω), [in LXX chiefly for דֶּגֶל, also for חַיָּה, רַגְלִי;]

that which has been arranged or placed in order; esp. as military term, a company, troop, division, rank: metaph., I Co 15:23 (v. ICC, in l.).†
