Bu‐bon″o‐cele (bū̍‐bŏn″ō̍‐sēl), n. [Gr. βοuβών groin + � tumor: cf. F. bubonocèle.] (Med.) An inguinal hernia; esp. that incomplete variety in which the hernial pouch descends only as far as the groin, forming a swelling there like a bubo.
