Chrys″o‐chlore (?), n. [Gr. χρυσόσ gold + χλωρόσ light green: cf. F. chrysochlore.] (Zoöl.) A South African mole of the genus Chrysochloris; the golden mole, the fur of which reflects brilliant metallic hues of green and gold.
