‖Hem′a‐to‐ther″ma (?), n. pl. [NL., from Gr. αἱ̑μα, αἵματοσ, blood + θερμόσ warm.] (Zoöl.) The warm-blooded vertebrates, comprising the mammals and birds; — the antithesis to hematocrya.
