‖Lim′a‐ci″na (lĭm′ȧ‐sī″nȧ), n. [NL., from L. limax, limacis, a slug.] (Zoöl.) A genus of small spiral pteropods, common in the Arctic and Antarctic seas. It contributes to the food of the right whales.
