‖O‐œ″ci‐um (?), n.; pl.Oœcia (#). [NL., fr. Gr. ῳὄν an egg + � a house.] (Zoöl.) One of the special zooids, or cells, of Bryozoa, destined to receive and develop ova; an ovicell. See Bryozoa.
