‖O‐don′to‐tor″mae (?), n. pl. [NL., fr. οδοὔσ, οδὄντοσ, a tooth + � a socket.] (Paleon.) An order of extinct toothed birds having the teeth in sockets, as in the genus Ichthyornis. See Ichthyornis.
