‖Scy‐phis″to‐ma (?), n.; pl.Scyphistomata (#), Scyphistomæ (#). [NL., fr. Gr. σκύφοσ a cup + στόμα the mouth.] (Zoöl.) The young attached larva of Discophora in the stage when it resembles a hydroid, or actinian.
