Xiphodon

Xiph″o‐don (?), n. [Gr. ξίφοσ a sword + οδοὔσ, οδὄντοσ, a tooth.] (Paleon.) An extinct genus of artiodactylous mammals found in the European Tertiary formations. It had slender legs, didactylous feet, and small canine teeth.
