Ac″ro‐lith (�), n. [L. acrolthus, Gr. ακρολἴθοσ with the ends made of stone; ἄκροσ extreme + λίθοσ stone.] (Arch. & Sculp.) A statue whose extremities are of stone, the trunk being generally of wood. Elmes.
