Gy″ro–pi′geon (jī″rō̍‐pĭj′ŭn), n. [L. gyrare to revolve + E. pigeon.] A flying object simulating a pigeon in flight, when projected from a spring trap. It is used as a flying target in shooting matches. Knight.
