‖Gyr″o‐dus (jĭr″ō̍‐dŭs), n. [NL., fr. Gr. γυρόσ round + οδοὔσ tooth.] (Paleon.) A genus of extinct oölitic fishes, having rounded teeth in several rows adapted for crushing.
