Phrenitis

‖Phre‐ni″tis (?), n. [L., fr. Gr. �, fr. φρήν, φρενόσ.] 1. (Med.) Inflammation of the brain, or of the meninges of the brain, attended with acute fever and delirium; — called also cephalitis.
