Sclaff (?), v. i. [imp. & p. p.Sclaffed (?); p. pr. & vb. n.Sclaffing.] 1. To scuff or shuffle along.

2. (Golf) To scrape the ground with the sole of the club, before striking the ball, in making a stroke.
